Patient Pairs is a simple one deck Addition type pairing game.

How to Play

There are 13 tableau piles. At the start of the game, four cards are dealt to each pile face up, but with only the top card of each pile visible.

Play is to discard pairs of cards of the same rank (such as two Queens) by dropping one of the cards onto the other. The top card of each pile is available.

The game is won if all the cards are paired and removed from play. When there are no remaining moves and there are remaining cards, the game is lost.

Patient Pairs is an extremely easy game to play, but the cards do not always work out. An average player wins about 33% of the time.
