New York is a two deck game.

How to Play

There are eight foundation piles. Build these piles up in suit from the rank of first card dealt to the first pile, wrapping from King to Ace as necessary, until each pile contains 13 cards. The game is won when all of the cards are moved here.

There are also eight tableau piles. Build the tableau piles down by alternate color. Only one card at a time may be moved. Spaces may be filled only from the stock or a waste pile. At the start of the game 1 card is dealt face up to each pile.

In addition there are three waste piles. These are discard piles, cards are moved here from the stock only. Top card is available for play on the foundations or tableau.

The remaining cards are dealt to a stock. The top card of the stock is available for play on the foundations, tableau, or waste piles. No redeals.

An average player wins New York about half the time.
