Eight by Eight is a standard 2 deck solitaire game.

How to Play

There are eight tableau piles. At the start of the game eight cards are dealt face up to each pile. The remaining 16 cards in the deck are dealt to the stock.

There are eight foundation piles. The object is to build the foundation piles up in suit from Aces to Kings.

Building in the tableau is down regardless of suit. Groups of cards in sequence down regardless of suit may be moved as a unit. Spaces in the tableau may be filled by any single card, but not a group of cards.

When there are no plays in the tableau, clicking on the stock turns over 3 cards at a time to a waste pile. The top card of the waste pile is available for play. There are two redeals. After the first redeal, only 2 cards at a time are turned over from the stock, and after the final redeal just one card at a time is turned. This is like the game Gold Rush.

An average player wins Eight by Eight about 95% of the time, but many players can win nearly every game.
